MinimizeContent Management System

What is it? The most descriptive short statement I’ve ever come across for defining what is a Content Management System would be is "A CMS is a software for managing content on a Web site directly on the server".  It should be mentioned that a "Web Site" does not always mean an Internet site. Many organizations, government or private companies are finding a CMS is indispensable on their server for their internal Intranet.

Why do we even care?  Everyone in my world needs and uses data; probably in yours also.  Making that easy to do and understand, particularly by non-technical people, is very important.  Even technical people don’t want their CMS to be difficult or hard to understand!

This web site is in itself a living example of a Content Management System.  My CMS is DotNetNuke.  DotNetNuke is a Content Management System available for free!  The focus of this site is how to use various tools available in order to make your DNN site a better site.  For my Technical Site, I will try to avoid the technical details and jargon as much as possible.

This site is all about knowledge sharing from a single individual to a CMS audience. The task of knowledge sharing often generates little enthusiasm, but, as I mentioned earlier, this site is for my benefit as much as anything. It is an important tool for me to be able to document and reconstruct the solutions to the problems of data handling I encounter daily.
