Luke Kipfer is the Executive Vice President of Data Center Development & Construction for AREP and PowerHouse Data Centers. He is responsible for the planning and execution of all data center projects at AREP. Luke has more than 15 years of mission-critical experience leading multi-million dollar data center design and construction.

Before joining AREP and PowerHouse, Luke was Regional Director at Direct Line Global, where he oversaw project management and operations for several of the world’s largest hyperscale data center sites across the East Coast. Prior to Direct Line Global, he was Director of Construction at Markley Group, where he managed all aspects of design and construction for New England’s largest colocation, mission-critical telecommunications and data center facility.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations and Project Management and a Master of Business Administration degree in Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Luke resides in Ashburn, Virginia.
